The CSIR ICC proudly hosted Science Forum South Africa (SFSA) 2025, one of the country’s leading platforms for dialogue on science, technology and innovation.
Held from 24 to 28 November 2025, the Forum brought together scientists, policymakers, innovators, researchers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs and civil society representatives from across South Africa and beyond.
The 2025 edition also marked the 10-year anniversary of the Forum under the theme, Igniting Conversations about Science – Placing Science, Technology and Innovation at the Centre of Government, Education, Industry and Society.
The Forum featured a range of discussions, exhibitions and networking opportunities focused on science diplomacy, innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability and research collaboration, further positioning South Africa as a key contributor within the global science and innovation landscape.
The successful hosting of SFSA 2025 reinforced the CSIR ICC’s reputation as a leading venue for international conferences, exhibitions and knowledge-sharing events in South Africa.
