New appointments at CSIR ICC

Exciting developments are underway at the CSIR ICC, moving full steam ahead with the optimisation of its new organisational structure, which will see the employment of several new employees.

The CSIR ICC has appointed Elmarie Swanepoel as the Business Development Manager. Elmarie brings extensive experience in the business events and hospitality industries. Her role involves enhancing the centre’s competitiveness and strategic planning while also managing the sales and reservations office teams.

Lakshana Arnachellan has joined the CSIR ICC as an Event Coordinator. She has a Bachelor of Consumer Science in hospitality management and a wealth of knowledge in event management.

Additionally, Refilwe Ramaphakela has joined the CSIR ICC as an Event Coordinator. Refilwe holds qualifications in public administration, marketing and project management, as well as in-depth knowledge of events compliance and management.
