CSIR ICC: CSIR International Convention Centre excels at Management Services Excellence Awards

The CSIR International Convention Centre (ICC) soars high above its peers. This was once again evident when the Centre scooped no less than three awards at the recent CSIR Management Services Excellence Awards ceremony:

Event Coordinator Melanie Pretorius won a Platinum Award as overall winner in the Service Excellence category,
Marketing & Sales Manager Bronwen Cadle won the ICC Manager's Award, and
The Convention Centre won the Department Excellence Award (Platinum).

Melanie Pretorius, dressed for the 60's theme, receives her Platinum Award as overall winner in the Service Excellence category from CSIR Executive Director Raynold Zondo.

Bronwen Cadle, dressed for the 60's theme, receives the ICC Manager's Award from CSIR Executive Director Raynold Zondo.

General Manager Glenn Harding, dressed for the 60's theme, receives the Department Excellence Award on behalf of the CSIR ICC.

"These coveted Management Services Excellence Awards were the final accolades in a string of awards that the centre won during 2009," said Glenn Harding, ICC General Manager.

He praised the staff of the CSIR ICC and said that the awards bore testimony to the teams' hard work and dedication.
